Sadly, Pulse closed last fall. We miss them and Karen especially misses their nachos!
This was adapted from the Pulse Cafe Cashew Jack. When they closed they posted it on their website.
1 1/4c raw cashews
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1 1/2 t sea salt
1t garlic powder
1/8 t ground white pepper
3.5 c unsweetened plain soy milk
1/2 c canola oil
1/8 c lemon juice
Place cashews, yeast, salt, garlic, pepper, and 2 cups of soy milk in blender. Blend smooth and add to pan with Canola oil and Lemon Juice. Add remaining 1.5 cups of soy milk to blender to loosen remaining cheese and add to pan. Whisk together and heat until thick on low heat.
