Links,Fall recipes, and Restaurants I love

I love to cook and have a million cookbooks. However, I still find it helpful and inspiring to get a recipe in my email box every now and then.  Vegetarian Times has a great  Dairy-Free and Vegan Recipe of the Week. This week it is Chocolate Pecan Pudding Pie.  Sounds yummy right?

I also love VegNews magazine. They have a great website with yummy recipes like Stuffed Maple Tofu .

Lastly, VeganCuts.com is sort of like a Groupon but for Vegans. You get different deals in your inbox every week. This week it is two vegan and raw cookbooks for 1/2 price. I tend to be more of the down-home cooking kind of cook but am intrigued by a cookbook to make Raw Cupcakes!? I am going to check it out.

Yesterday, I went to Life Alive in Central Square for the first time. It is in our new hood and had to check it out. It was so damn good. I will definitely be spending time there while we are doing the build out!

Lastly, I just found out that Peace o Pie, a vegan pizza place in Alston owned by by my good friend, Annie Hall’s beau, Miguel delivers to Central and Harvard Square. Hmmmm, I wonder if they deliver to Somerville. I will definitely find out.  Well, that is it for now. Oh, just found out they do deliver to Somerville too on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.  peaceopie.com

Peace out, Mimi
