Join Elliott, Lynne, & Paulina and practice the Primary and Second Series of aṣtanga yoga. Primary Series happens weekly at 7:30pm on Tuesdays in Somerville and at 7pm on Wednesdays in Cambridge — and starting in October 2017, 7am with Paulina in Cambridge. This practice is a set series of postures focused on forward folds and hamstring strength and flexibility and serves as the foundation for O2 Yoga. During the last aṣtanga offering of the month we offer Second Series, which builds on the work in our regular Primary Series classes, but focuses more on backbending and hip opening with some fun inversions, dynamic jumping postures, and, of course, the 7 headstands. These classes move very quickly and are recommended for more advanced practitioners.
