You, too, can experience Primary and Second Series of aṣtanga yoga! This practice is a set series of postures focused on forward folds and hamstring strength and flexibility and serves as the foundation for O2 Yoga. During the last aṣtanga offering of the month we swap in Second Series, which builds on the work in our regular Primary Series classes, but focuses more on backbending and hip opening with some fun inversions, dynamic jumping postures, and, of course, the 7 headstands. These classes move very quickly and are recommended for more advanced practitioners.
