I don’t know why I haven’t made these before. They are relatively easy and totally yummy. Get out your food processor with grating blade. Of course you can hand grate everything but it will take a lot more time. Ingredients: 1 large sweet potato peeled 4 medium yukon gold potatoes ( I don’t peel these but you could) 3 carrots Grate all of the above and pour into a big bowl 1 large onion chopped fine 3/4 cup flour 1...

The recipe for the tahini cookies is coming but I couldn’t stop thinking about the guajillo chocolate cupcake recipe I...

I wanted to make something for my friends, Annie and Miguel, and Tim Darr, who are coming to give us some advice on the cafe. I found this recipe by two of my favorite cookbook authors, Isa Chandra...

Boy was I surprised when Steven told me he found a vegetarian restaurant in Tulum. We were even more surprised when we got there and found it was vegan. We were first greeted by a very cute but sassy doggy who barked her head off when we came in and then again every time we got up from the table. The owner Steve, was really nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed that there were 7 of us, even though there was no one else in the restaurant....
